Sick Visits

A sick visit is a same-issue appointment for something that has come on recently: a fever, sore throat, cough, stomach upset, urinary symptoms, a rash, or an infection that is not settling on its own. Seeing your own primary care office means the person treating you already knows your history and medications.

What to Expect

Your physician will ask about how the symptoms started and how they have changed, examine the relevant area, and run in-office testing where it helps narrow things down. You leave with a diagnosis or a clear next step, a treatment plan, and instructions on what should improve and by when.
