Memory complaints deserve evaluation rather than reassurance. Some causes — thyroid disease, B12 deficiency, sleep problems, depression, medication side effects — are reversible, and early evaluation matters for the ones that are not.
What to Expect
Screening uses a brief structured assessment along with a history from you and, where helpful, a family member. Blood work rules out treatable causes, and imaging or specialist referral is arranged when the picture calls for it.
